About MMYC
Shaping minds. Connecting hearts. Building a generation that leads with faith.
Our Story
The Malaysian Muslim Youth Club (MMYC) was founded in 2008 by the late Allahyarham Sikandar Hayatkhan Bin Abdul Rahim, together with a small group of determined young men who believed that Indian Muslim youth in Malaysia deserved a stronger platform — one built on faith, unity, and purpose.
Starting with just 27 enthusiastic members, MMYC was officially registered with Pejabat Pendaftaran Belia Malaysia in 2009. From those humble beginnings, the club has grown into one of the most respected and active Indian Muslim youth organisations in the country.
Since 2013, the club has been led by President Mohammed Azmi bin Sathakutulah (P.J.K, P.J.M), who has steered MMYC through remarkable milestones — from small community gatherings to hosting Malaysia's Largest Indian Muslim Youth Gathering at the SIRAT Youth Summit 2025, recorded in the Malaysian Book of Records with over 1,000 participants.
Today, MMYC stands as a community of 6,500+ online members and 350+ registered members, held together by a shared commitment to the ummah, to each other, and to Malaysia.
Mission
To bring all Muslim youths — especially Indian Muslims — together to form a united organisation and carry out programs that benefit not just our members, but society at large. We aim to produce personalities with strong faith, high intellect, and a drive to contribute positively to the community.
Vision
To be the leading platform for Indian Muslim youth in Malaysia — cultivating a generation that is spiritually grounded, academically excellent, economically empowered, and committed to leadership that serves the ummah and the nation.
